Fun in the Sun!

We celebrated Marina and Kiah's Birthday on Labor Day!

We had a blast. Calista got her first Party Favor. She thought it was pretty cool! Mom got all the candy in it but she got the paper BAG!

She is obsessed with paper bags!

Then we took the fun outside with a giant waterslide. Calista actually liked it. Except when I pushed her down it by herself- she thought I was mean for that one =)!.

This weekend Lance and I recieved the very much coveted 'FIRST TIME PARENT AWARD!' Sunday night Lance and Calista were playing on the dock when all of the sudden Calista started screaming. We couldn't calm her down and she would not move her head. And if you know Calista- aka Bobble head, you know that she always moves her head. To test her we set her down on the floor and stood above her until she looked up at us. She finally did and she threw her head back down and started screaming once again. WE THOUGHT FOR SURE SHE MIGHT DIE.

So we put her in her car seat and drove into the nearest Emergency Room in Rupert! We got her in, answered all of the nurses questions. Calista still won't move her head... Then the Doctor came in and said: "lets put her on the table and see what she does." We set down our DYING child, held our breath, and... Calista looked up at the Doctor, giggled, and tried to steal her doctor scope. Then she laughed, boblled her head, and played for about 10 minutes until we hung our heads, accepted out 'FIRST TIME PARENT AWARD' proudly, and drove back home. What a turd.
